The Moontower Mermaid is the aquatic siren persona of burlesque dancer Something Blue. Blue is a member of The Jigglewatts Burlesque Revue in Austin, TX and has been an entertainer for private events since 2012. With experience as a Vegas Showgirl, flapper, gogo dancer, atmospheric performer and more, Ms. Blue is sure to bring a touch of whimsical glamour to your event. As a dancer, she has performed all over the United States and Europe, and has been featured at the Texas, Dallas, Colorado, Oregon, Mile High and Munich burlesque festivals. She won the top prize at the Texas Metal Burlesque and Variety Festival in 2019. Blue can also be heard on the radio airwaves at WJST Jet Set Radio as Chief Stewardess. Ms. Blue is a classically trained vocalist with 4 years of voice lessons and notable performances at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Carnegie Hall. She has formal training in jazz and movement from the Broadway Dance Center and Alvin Ailey Studios in New York City.
